The City of Providence is hitting the streets to raise awareness about vaccines and get people registered for vaccine appointments.
As the SARS-CoV-2 virus continues to spread across Providence and increase cases of COVID-19, we will be heading into the City's 'hot zones' to raise awareness about the virus and how to get vaccinated. Viral mutations and new variants are of concern, increasing the speed at which the virus is transmitted and community spread. For the City's high density communities (HDCs) this is of particular worry, as the tightly-packed urban layout makes transmission easier. With much of Providence designated as HDCs, it's especially important to get the population vaccinated as soon as possible and we need your help.
