Help us Plant Monarch Butterfly Gardens. Free and Kid friendly The Northeast Kansas City Chamber of Commerce and the Independence Avenue Community Improvement District is planting Monarch Butterfly Gardens between Wabash & Chestnut along Independence Blvd. Kids and families are invited. Saturday, Rain or Shine look for us under the tents to help plant butterfly loving flowers in the tree wells along the sidewalks. We will be set up in the green space next to the Sharif Store.
