Don't miss the next Full Moon Glow-UP event! Every month, the full moon emits a powerful energy. Since the effects are typically felt up to two weeks after the full moon phase, it’s the perfect opportunity to align the mind, body and spirit. This Full Moon “Glow-Up” event will be hosted by Annie Vazquez, a Miami based Body Positive Influencer, Founder of Annie The Alchemist, and Certified Reiki and Sound Bowl Instructor. This event will feature a retail pop-up market from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with local vendors including PS Boutique, Zoe’s Empire, Purple Lotus Spiritual Healing, Deborah Ivy Travel Photography, Lil Dream Earz, Top Dawg Treats, Blue Serenity Boutique, Gavi VonArx Equadorian Panama Hats, and Candles by Janet. During the event, guests will enjoy live DJ beats by Sepideh Amiri while sipping complimentary Ron Barcelo cocktails. For an extra touch of glam, Kairos Hair Salon will activate a special hair braid station. The event also features a live painting of “The Moon Shadow Series” by local Miami based artist Adriana Jay. Starting at 8:00 p.m., guests will be able to relax, meditate, stretch and unwind during a one-hour yoga class led by Yoga Instructor Christine Gagen. Annie Vazquez will join Christine during the last 15 minutes of the yoga class to play her soothing sound bowls. The Full Moon Glow-UP Event Series is generously sponsored by Jackson Health System, a nonprofit academic medical system offering world-class care to any person who walks through its doors in Miami-Dade County. Parking is available at local metered locations around the museum and may be paid for using the PayByPhone app (to avoid returning to your vehicle to refill the meter during the event). Guests are required to wear a face mask and must bring their own yoga mats to the event. To ensure social distancing, all yoga mats will be spaced 6 ft. apart throughout the museum’s outdoor plaza. A portion of all ticket sales will be donated back to museum to support annual programs and initiatives. All guests will receive a complimentary goodie bag upon arrival.
