SALARY: DOE from $20 to $30 per hour to start. Full Time Position Small Family run company searching for handy man to work on home remodel projects. We also partner with a Property Management company operating primarily in South King and Pierce Counties to maintain their rentals. Our team is very passionate about making a difference and improving the lives of both our tenants and owners. We are looking for an experienced handyman who possesses the following qualities: Character: We need someone open, honest, accountable, transparent, and humble. Someone confident and comfortable with what they can and cannot do. Someone who will speak the truth, and do the right thing rather than the convenient thing. Culture: This person is customer service minded. We need someone who thinks about others before they think about what is easy. Who wants to see other people thrive and succeed, and gets fulfillment from that. Competence: We need someone who has experience in a variety of trades. We prefer a skilled Jack of All Trades type with good problem solving skills and a good troubleshooter. However, we are willing to train the right person with a solid work ethic. You don't need to be able to do it all, but know your limitations and communicate when you lack experience. Then there are some requirements: - Accountable, reliable, and on time - Own a reliable truck or van as traveling to job sites daily is required. These include Tacoma, Lacey, Bremerton - Tooled with cordless and hand tools (basic essentials) - Good enough with technology you can use an app on your phone to clock in/out and enter notes about the project We are looking for someone who wants to work in South King and Pierce counties mostly. We manage mostly four unit buildings and a few single family houses. The successful person will review assigned work orders, pick up supplies, get in the vehicle and go make the repairs. The nature of the repairs could be different than what is expected, and may involve going to a hardware store to get parts. Roll with the situation and find a way to get the job done.
