Experienced Veterinary Technician/Assistant hours are Mon-Fri 8-5 and some weekend hours required on a rotating schedule. Job duties include, but are not limited to, clean, disinfect and prepare medical equipment between each appointment; administer vaccinations; administer medications and/or anesthesia to prepare animal patients for surgery; calm, comfort and properly handle animals before, during and after procedures; take notes on examination results and updating records; and provide owners with educational resources and information on how best to care for animals. Experience with Avimark software is a plus! We are looking for an outgoing person with loving compassion for animals that is a great team worker!
