Press release from the Contra Costa County Public Library: Submitted by CCCL_RobynB May 6, 2021 According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, one in five U.S. adults experience mental illness each year. With the COVID-19 pandemic looming over our lives this past year, people have become more isolated and mental health issues are more important to talk about than ever. The good news is that there are free resources available if you or someone you know is having trouble. View Full List The library is hosting a virtual program with the Contra Costa Crisis Center on Friday, May 14th, called "Grief, Stress, and Loss During the Pandemic."
