We are looking for an experienced HVAC Lead Installer with 5 years experience installing HVAC systems in commercial and industrial projects. The job requires knowledge of local codes, best building practices, and industry standards. Ability to lay out roof curbs, fire smoke dampers, louver penetrations a must. Ability to read blue prints, strong problem solving and critical thinking skills required. We're looking for a confident individual who wants to use his knowledge and experience to find a home in a company he can work for until he retires. Experience doing government work a plus, ability to install VAV boxes, refrigerant lines, recover refrigerant, seismic bracing a strong part of daily work at this company. Clean DMV and must be able to pass a Department of Defense background check to obtain access to local military bases required. Ability / experience with Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF or VRV) a plus. We primarily do schools, libraries, courthouses and 50% of our work is for the federal government. Prevailing wage is over 90% of our work. This is an opportunity for the right individual to make over $100,000 per year and get health care and a 401(k) / pension plan.
