The Field Crew members work primarily as part of a crew on assigned Energy and Environmental Services projects throughout Humboldt County and will travel to Modoc County 2-3 times a year to provide these services and will stay there for 1-2 weeks at a time. RCAA provides per diem and lodging for the crew. The Field Crew performs various weatherization and basic carpentry tasks, which includes the following (this list is just an example, it is not a complete list of duties): insulation of floors and attics, installation of windows and doors, installation of weather-stripping, operation of Blower Door and Monoxide II testing equipment (after training), other various home repair and energy efficiency tasks.
