Elmhurst Woman Among DUI Suspects: Cops

ELMHURST, IL — Over the last few days, Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of DUI, shoplifting, violation of a protection order and driving violations. Here is information from the reports: DUI Kathleen E. Sebastian, 18, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 9 p.m. Monday at St. Charles and Prospect on charges of DUI, improper lane usage, possession of a false identification and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. She was released on bond. Wenseslao Lopez Hernandez, 27, of Addison, was arrested about 3 a.m. Monday at North and Oak on charges of DUI and unauthorized parking on private property. He was released on bond. According to a police report, he was parked in a private driveway. Shoplifting Kristina Kasthom, 28, of Elmhurst, was cited about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mariano's, 678 N. York, on a charge of retail theft. She was released on bond. Violation of protection order Antonio Cortez, 27, of Villa Park, was arrested about 10 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of East Fremont Avenue on a charge of a violation of an order of protection. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. According to a police report, a woman said Cortez contacted her through text message, a violation of the protection order. Driving violations Tamar A. Sanders, 42, of Mount Prospect, was cited about 1 a.m. Wednesday at York and Diversey on charges of no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding. He was released on bond. Thomas L. Wais, 60, of Elgin, was cited about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 600 block of West North on charges of driving with a suspended license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. She was released on bond. Tenezia Brown, 50, of North Chicago, was cited about midnight Wednesday at North and Route 83 on charges of driving with a revoked license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. She was released on bond. Cerise E. Green, 30, of Westmont, was cited about 4 p.m. Wednesday at Route 83 and St. Charles on a charge of driving with a suspended license. He was released on bond. David N. Webb, 58, of Melrose Park, was arrested about 4 p.m. Monday at York and Crescent on charges of aggravated driving with a revoked license and disobeying a stop sign. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. Warrant Dennis E. Tovar, 28, of Melrose Park, was arrested about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Arlington and Church on a DuPage County Sheriff's Office warrant. He was released on bond. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt.
