Learn more about the RFO program, the advocacy we provide, and how you can have a direct and meaningful impact in your local community. Currently we are looking for volunteers to serve in Multnomah, Josephine, Klamath, Umatilla, and Union Counties. As the program expands, we will add additional counties. If you are interested in volunteering and cannot serve in the listed areas, please let us know and we will add you to our waiting list for when opportunities arrive. The webinar will provide useful information about our program even if you are not interested in volunteering at this time. There are two convenient times each month - one in the evening and one at noon. We look forward to hearing from you!
The Residential Facilities Ombudsman program is focused on improving the lives of persons who experience Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities or Mental Health conditions. We are advocates working to protect individual rights and enhance quality of life, specifically from the person's perspective.
We respond to requests for assistance from individual residents as well as anyone concerned with their care.
