1 Injured, 3 Suspects Sought In Town Center Mall Robbery

COBB COUNTY, GA — Cobb County police are searching for three suspects in connection with an armed robbery at Town Center Mall Thursday afternoon, which injured one person. Police responded to what was initially a possible active shooter, but upon arrival officers learned that three masked people robbed A&M Custom Jewelry at gunpoint. One employee was injured during the robbery, and police said the injuries are non-life-threatening. All three suspects got away. Police evacuated the mall and are searching the area for them. Town Center Mall closed its doors for the evening due to the robbery. Cobb police spokesperson Shenise Barner said investigators are still finishing their preliminary investigation and more information will be released once that is complete. This is a developing story.
