Be an independent contractor and work on your own time. Install and remove residential real estate signs for Chafin Signs LLC. Chafin Signs has been in business for over 23 years and we install/remove signs for Berkshire Hathaway (the largest real estate company in Pittsburgh and surrounding areas) and other companies. We are looking for an installer for Somerset and surrounding areas. You must be able to work the route 2 - 3 days per week (daylight hours only) for approximately 2-4 hours each day (and you can set your own hours). Due to the nature of the work, it is a prerequisite that the individual selected actually lives IN or NEAR Somerset. This is a great way to earn extra money. You MUST have a pick-up truck (or possibly an SUV or van) and you also must have the physical stamina to be able to dig 18” holes to install the real estate posts (the posts can get heavy as well). IF YOU ONLY HAVE A CAR, PLEASE DON’T CONTACT ME SINCE A PICK-UP TRUCK (OR AN SUV OR VAN) IS AN ABSOLUTE NECESSITY IN ORDER TO PERFORM THE JOB PROPERLY. Other tools that are required for the position include a post-hole digger, a digging bar, pliers, screwdrivers, and a cordless drill. Pay is “per-unit” and is based upon each sign installed or removed. The pay is $16 for every sign installed and $13 for every sign removed. The pay for the Somerset area averages $500 to $700 per month. Many of our installers have been Installing signs for 20 – 35 years. This opportunity is perfectly suited for able-bodied retirees and is a great way to make extra income. We are looking for a self-motivated and responsible (I stress the word responsible) individual who can work independently. Also, did I mention to please not contact me if you only have a car?
