Horse Caretaker/Ranch Worker Needed We are looking for a reliable, hard-working individual for our Santa Margarita ranch. Duties to include but not limited to: • Daily feeding and watering for approximately 12-14 horses • Daily cleaning of stalls and pens • Daily care of animals • General health care as directed by veterinarian • General ranch work to include mowing, pruning, carpentry, general repairs • Maintenance of stalls, pens and fences • Maintenance of grounds • Landscape maintenance • General maintenance and upkeep of barns and other buildings on the property • Maintenance of irrigation and water systems • Construction of outbuildings and fences • Other miscellaneous ranch work as required Skills required: • Horse experience required • Must be able to drive a tractor • Carpentry skills and ability to use power tools • Common-sense working knowledge of mechanical systems (plumbing and electrical) • Must be able to lift 50 pounds Please reply with resume and/or detail of experience
