Liberty Mechanical Inc. is looking for an Installation Helper/Apprentice. It is the responsibility of the Installation Helper/Apprentice to assist the Lead Installer with HVAC installations and other related HVAC components correctly and in a timely manner. The install team may work under close supervision with a minimal amount of creative design given, depending on experience. Job Duties: • Assist the Lead Installer with Residential/Light Commercial HVAC installs • Complete duct work layout and installation • Work safely following company policies • Provide assistance to other team members as directed by management • Demonstrate and establish effective working relationships with co-workers and superiors • Maintain cleanliness of assigned company vehicle • Any other assigned duties as directed by management Job Requirements: Education Experience: • 1 year experience installing HVAC equipment preferred • EPA Certified preferred • High School Diploma or Equivalent Key Competencies: • Must show up to work on a daily basis and arrive on time. • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills • Honest and dependable • Mechanically inclined • Self-Motivated but able to take direction and be part of a team • Valid CA driver's License with a good driving record • Must be able to pass a criminal background check & health/drug screening • Must be able to read and write in English Physical Requirements: • Ability to safely lift up to 100lbs • Able to tolerate temperatures above 110 for extended periods of time • Able to work overtime, if needed • Able to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl Potential Benefits: • Competitive compensation • Paid Time Off • Employee Medical Insurance • Cell Phone Reimbursement • We are a Drug-Free Company
