Boston Design Week Awards 2021 The Boston Design Week Awards take place Friday, May 7, 2021 from 6:00-7:30pm on Zoom. The Awards are the culminating event of Boston Design Week 2021. The 8th Annual Boston Design Week takes place April 28-May 9 with 50+ free virtual and outdoor events. For details and to RSVP for events, visit BostonDesignWeek.com . While the awards are online this year, we hope you will join our annual gathering of Awards Nominees, Design Week Participants, Sponsors, Leadership Committee, Media, and Invited Guests. Your co-presenters are Tony Fusco , Co-Producer of Boston Design Week, and Allison Iantosca , President of F.H. Perry Builder. There will also be a guest appearance by Grammy-winning recording artist Patti Austin , one of the founders of the Over My Shoulder Foundation, originators of the Mentor of the Year Award. The Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Miguel Gómez-Ibáñez , master furniture maker and President Emeritus of North Bennet Street School. The Producer's Choice Award will be presented to The Society of Arts and Crafts. The other Awards to be announced at the event include Mentor of the Year, co-sponsored by the Over My Shoulder Foundation, Newcomer of the Year and the Social Impact Award .
