We are currently hiring a FULL TIME NON-CDL DRIVER. Break it Down is a rapidly growing composting and recycling business. We provide services to over 600 businesses, offices and residents in and around Austin - which means FULL-TIME work GUARANTEED!! Get in SHAPE while driving! BENEFITS of this position include: - Competitive wages, starting at $17/hour with regular increases after 90 days for reliable performance - 13 days Paid Time Off per year - Paid holidays that we are closed - Time and half for holidays we are open, or for overtime - 60/40 split on medical insurance + dental and vision available - Fun and energetic work environment Requirements for this position include: - You must be at least 25+ years of age - Valid TEXAS driver's license - No DUI/DWI - Experience driving box trucks - Operational smartphone that can be used throughout the day for taking/sending photos, communicating via text and email, and for GPS/routing - Reliable transportation to and from work (our hours do not work well with most bus lines) Responsibilities of this position include: - Driving 26' stake bed trucks or box trucks 1-3 routes (including anywhere from 1-30 stops) around Austin everyday. - Loading 100 lb.+ barrels of food waste and recyclables into trailers at every stop. - Sorting through barrels to check for contamination. - General help around the warehouse. Pay for this position starts at $17/hour. Shifts start at 6 am. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK AT LEAST 1 WEEKEND DAY. CDL drivers encouraged to apply!
