Our growing pool company is seeking a full time Swimming Pool Maintenance Technician. This position will provide pool cleaning and sanitizing services and other needed maintenance to customer accounts. Experience in the swimming pool business is preferred, but we will gladly train the right candidate. Compensation & Benefits • This position is paid weekly; salary is based on experience level • Paid time off • No experience necessary; paid training period with an experienced member of our team • You will be provided with: a company truck, company shirts, cleaning tools, a company phone or allowance to use your phone, equipment, and use of a company card for gas and chemical purchases • After a trial period of employment, eligibility for raises based upon performance • Continued education costs will be covered for relevant certifications when appropriate Job Duties • Test water and adjust chemicals as needed • Empty skimmers and pump strainer baskets • Vacuum pool and remove debris from floor • Brush steps, walls and tiles • Skim debris off surface • Check pool equipment • Backwash • Accurately and timely record work performed • Maintain inventory of chemicals, parts and supplies as needed • Quickly and clearly communicate • Maintain professionalism in appearance, communications, and in quality of work • Make decisions on when to escalate pool issues to management • Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications • Able to pass a pre-employment background check • Valid TX Driver License and clean driving record • Dependability and trustworthiness • Attention to detail and customer service skills • Ability to take instruction and adapt to new methods/systems • Comprehension of proper swimming pool cleaning methods, techniques & chemicals • Ability to work independently and maintain a schedule and workload • Maintain positive and cooperative working relationship with customers and co-workers • Lift and carry objects weighing up to 100 pounds • Be able to pass a drug test and be subject to random drug testing • Stand for extended periods of time • Ability to work outdoors during all seasons; work hours may require adaptation Call our office today!
