We are in search of a highly motivated individual with an interest in e-commerce and who is experienced in e-commerce order picking, packing, shipping and warehouse management. The successful candidate must be very organized, extremely detail-oriented, be able to work in a fast-paced, always-changing environment. You will also need to follow outlined procedures properly. This is a great entry-level opportunity with on-the-job-training. Your tasks include, but are not limited to: 80% of your time: Picking / Fulfilling orders and being the point person for all receiving. Monitor stock levels, inform management of low/out of stock items; Respond to Customer inquiries and order requests. 20% of your time: Day to day operations of warehouse which includes checking in new items, accurately measuring clothing items, folding/bagging items, periodic stock counts, reorganizing picking bins, optimizing the warehouse Qualifications: This is an entry level position for someone who wants to learn about e-commerce operations. Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with Excel, Word, web-based programs. Basic knowledge of shipping process, rates, shipping methods, choosing the best shipping method and packaging. Must be EXTREMELY detail oriented. Must follow instructions/procedures properly and take pride of ownership in your work. Must be fluent in English, have strong verbal and written skills to communicate effectively. Must be comfortable lifting/moving boxes up to 50 pounds. Knowledge of fashion, apparel, pop culture and current trends a huge plus. Experience in E-Commerce platforms, Shipstation and USPS / FedEx shipping practices are a plus.
