Veteran rock band seeks new singer

We are a ten-year-old hard rock/prog/metal band that has released two professional albums. Recently, our singer moved to Texas for life reasons. We are currently seeking a new singer to take us to the next level. We are looking for someone who can sing and craft vocal melodies as a full partner in the band. We are a three-piece band (drums, guitar, guitar/bass) but are open to more instrumentation if you play guitar/keys/anything. We have a dedicated private rehearsal space at Charlestown Rehearsal Studios. We are open to singers of all ages, genders and musical backgrounds. Our influences range from bands like Tool and Porcupine Tree to harder music like Between the Buried and Me and Meshuggah, to industrial rock like Rammstein to jazz music and classic rock. If you are interested, please respond and we can arrange an audition. Applicants can expect the following: 1.) Choose three audition songs from a pre-prepared list (sample bands include Tool, Deftones, Rage Against the Machine, Alice in Chains, Pink Floyd, Slipknot, and others) 2.) Craft a few simple vocal melodies/ideas to unreleased music that we are currently working on. 3.) Come down to the studio to meet the band, perform the songs, and jam/hang. We like to keep it casual (and we have a fridge full of good beer).
