Job Description:
The groundskeeper will maintain the grounds as part of a team including lawns, trees, shrubs, plants, beds, and sprinkler system.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Mow, edge, and trim turf areas, collect trash and debris daily, weed and maintain planting beds.
- Provide maintenance of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, playground areas, play fields and other parts of grounds.
- Assist in replacing and adjusting sprinkler heads.
- Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides.
- Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, ground cover and annual flowers.
- Maintain equipment and supplies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Schedule:
- Part-time (10-20 hours per week) (between 7am and 11am)
- 3 to 5 days per week (Mon-Fri)
To be successful in this role you need to ensure grounds are always pleasant, both visually and operatively, while maintaining equipment. Top candidates are hard-working, meticulous, and patient.
Prefer candidate to have at least 1 year experience in landscaping and/or grounds keeping, dependable work history and MUST pass a background check.
