Housing Authority of Chelan County & the City of Wenatchee is hiring a full time maintenance worker to join our maintenance team. This position will work Monday-Thursday, 7:30am to 6:00pm. This position will be responsible for maintenance of our apartment complexes in Leavenworth, WA. Job responsibilities will include equipment inspection, basic repairs and preventive maintenance. Tasks include preparing apartments for the next tenant when vacated, basic heating, plumbing, painting, carpentry, electrical repairs, and irrigation systems. Previous experience in apartment maintenance is required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have access to reliable transportation and provide proof of automobile insurance. Starting wage is $18.84 per hour plus benefits. Benefits include health, dental, life, and long term disability insurance, vacation, sick time, and state retirement.
