Company Summary PennCoat, Inc. is a well-established industrial painting and seamless epoxy flooring contractor located in Lancaster County. We serve industrial customers in the Central PA, Philadelphia PA, and Baltimore MD areas. We are currently recruiting for Coating Technicians. No painting or floor applicator experience is required. We will provide you with comprehensive on-the-job training. We like to promote from within, so there are also opportunities for motivated employees to advance into Job Leader positions. Job Duties The job duties for this position include: • Performing surface preparation and application of industrial paints and epoxy floor coatings; • Setting up, running, troubleshooting, and fixing equipment; • Participating in the PennCoat safety program; • Driving to and from worksites; and • Operating in a safe and drug-free and smoke-free work environment. Qualifications The qualifications for this position include: • Teachable and a desire to learn and grow (we will teach you the job); • Strong work ethic; • Strong mechanical skills, including the ability to fix and troubleshoot equipment; • Basic math and reading skills; • Works well with others in a team environment; • Quality and customer service focus; • Possess a valid driver’s license; • Industrial painting and/or floor application experience is a plus (not required); • Strong track record of successful employment with positive professional references; and • Submitting to pre-employment and random drug screenings.
