Media Sales Representative (TV/Radio) We are a TV/Radio show with a large listening pet-friendly audience, serving our local community, and generate results for our advertisers. We looking for seasonal sales reps for this summer months. If interested, please read our job description below and apply! Job Responsibilities: Prospect, market, sell, and serve advertising TV/Radio options to new businesses, build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, and sell additional company advertising products and services to new and/or existing clients. In addition, individuals will prepare campaign schedules, promotional ideas, negotiate business contracts and achieve revenue goals. This position requires the individual to make face-to-face calls and/or visits to prospects and/or current clients. Other duties as assigned by the company. Work Schedule: Remote/Telecommute Remote Work flexible schedule within the hours Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Please note, attendance at company meetings and/or events that may fall outside the normal Monday through Friday schedule may also be required. Job Requirements: Strong communication skills Ability to build relationships with customers Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets and deadlines Self-disciplined to work independently Excellent time-management and organizational skills Ability to walk up to 5 miles per day, carry 25 pounds, sit or drive 4-6 hours, and stand 1-2 hours per day Successful completion of a background check Minimum High School Diploma, Some college classes or Degree preferred (not required) Valid state driver’s license Maintain auto insurance policy at all times during employment Job Status: 1099 Contractor, Full or Part-Time, Commission/Bonuses, exempt. Is this a 1099 Position? Yes, this is a COMMISSION ONLY independent contractor position. However, if you applied for the full-time traveling position we pay per diem as well, in addition to commission, gas, and tolls with documented receipts. Is there Training?
