Hello! I am looking for a fun, music oriented person to help me DJ a wedding late May. I'm NOT looking for a mobile DJ company or someone who already runs one. My mobile music company has been in business for over 33 years but C*#*^ took us all out. As we open up I'm revamping things. This may lead to continuous help. So, if you have an expansive knowledge of music usually played at weddings and love people, like the DJ gig, I'd love to talk with you. I usually call my assistant the "backman" (no gender inferred) because I do a lot of the talking and moving the event through the night. We have a great rig with cool lighting. Usually takes us a couple hours to set up and oneish to strike. I pay based on the event monies. If the event pays more, you make more. It'll at least pay $100 for the night. Usually more.
