We are a small shop in need of a plumbing assistant/laborer. This job offers part time to full time hours. We schedule some jobs during graveyard hours and availability will need to be 24 hrs M-F. We are closed on major holidays. Job Summary: Performs tasks involving physical labor at commercial or residential sites General Accountabilities: • Responsible for loading and unloading tools, pipe, and material • Measures and cuts pipe • Operates various types of hand tools • Cleans and prepares site • Digs trenches and holes • Sets braces to support the sides of excavations • Cleans site of all rubble, debris, waste and/or other materials • May assist other craft workers • Performs other duties as assigned or requested Skills • Active listening • Coordination • Operation monitoring • Reading comprehension Job Qualifications • Experience: A few months to one year of related experience • A valid driver license and vehicle • Education: High school diploma or equivalent WAGE: Depends on experience *The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time
