D2B2 is a quality, short-term rental company in the Friendship area. Who we are looking for: We will guarantee you pay for 10 hours a week. You will be helping the team with: Be on-call (+- 3 hours response time) to respond to issues like blocked drains, slow leaks, wifi resets, etc. These kinds of issues generally occur once a week or so. Emergency on-call. (less than 1 hour response time) Very rarely, maybe 1 time every 3 months, we may have a more urgent issue like a guest can’t get in, there is a bigger leak or security issue where we need you to go to the property quickly. One example is when a guest reports another guest being very loud or breaking another rule. I try to contact the bad guest but if they don’t answer my messages or phone calls, we need you to go knock on the door and hand them the phone to talk to me or my husband. In the remaining paid hours you will be performing regular maintenance and improvements on a long term schedule. This will include things like painting, changing AC filters, checking drains, bleaching condensate lines, repairing small damages to the building and furniture, and improving things around the building and grounds. Candidate Requirements: Must have hands on experience with general building maintenance (light plumbing, electrical, HVAC, Finishing) Experience with basic technical setup like installing a new TVs or programming a thermostat etc. Ability to interact with guests in a professional manner. (rare) Interested in a on-call part-time arrangement Bonus Candidates: Live in or very close to Friendship Retired or working another part-time job with flexible timing. Construction experience is a plus (repointing, concrete, framing, carpentry, finishing). May lead to additional larger improvement projects.
