Dog School, Philly's oldest dog daycare, is looking for another awesome person to join our team. Please make sure to read the entire ad before applying! You'll need to be capable of learning to manage a room of 20-30 dogs, which means having a strong personality and great patience. While past experience working with dogs is not required, you should be interested in learning about their behavior in a group setting. And while working with dogs is fun, this job is a far cry from sitting around and petting them all day. You'll be on your feet constantly, and as you might imagine, there's a significant cleaning component to this job as well. Just as important as learning to manage the dogs is your ability to impress clients. Though interactions with the dogs' owners are brief, establishing a good rapport with them so that they feel comfortable leaving their dog in your care is essential to the job. The position we're currently hiring for would require you to work at our location at 1737 South St. Ideally, whoever we hire would be flexible and able to work at one of our other locations if needed.
