Are you interested in a career in high-end professional a/v equipment installation? We're looking for a motivated, dependable individual to learn hands-on from an experienced industry professional. No experience is necessary, but a demonstrable facility with hand and power tools is a definite plus. A high-school diploma or GED is required, and you must be a licensed driver with a clean driving record. Your duties would include:
• Install, service, and repair electronic equipment or instruments including but not limited to loudspeaker clusters, system wiring, device mounting and tie-in.
• Calibrate and test equipment, and locate circuit and component faults, using hand and power tools and measuring and testing instruments such as resistance meters and oscilloscopes.
• Confer with customers to determine the nature of problems or to explain repairs.
• Tune or adjust equipment and instruments to obtain optimum visual or auditory reception, according to specifications, manuals, and drawings.
• Instruct customers on the safe and proper use of equipment.
• Read and interpret electronic circuit diagrams, function block diagrams, specifications, engineering drawings, and service manuals.
• Keep records of work orders and test and maintenance reports.
• Make service calls to repair units at client locations, or return units to shops for major repairs.
• Position or mount speakers, and wire speakers to consoles.
• Prepping and pulling installation products
• Truck loading and driving for installations
• Stock and clean installation truck as required
• Report supply needs for expendables to Installation Manager
• Report truck maintenance requirements to Installation Manager
• Travel to work sites to perform installation, repair or maintenance work
