The Enhancement Crew Leader 3 will directly over see a 2-5 persons crew. This person would see all projects from beginning to end and ensure their completion with efficiency, safety and accuracy. You would be responsible for mobilization and demobilization in a timely manner, manage and maintain job sites in an effective manner. You would also be required to deliver or have materials delivered to the job sites at the right times so that work may not be impeded. As Enhancement Crew Leader 3, you will need to know and be proficient in; renovation/enhancements, irrigation, plant id, hardscapes, retaining walls and installs. You will also be expected to train and monitor the crew members in which you supervise. Safety, skill and ethic must be instilled to maintain a healthy operating crew. Responsibilities Operating Job Sites • Must be able to follow landscaping architect plans and work with a project manager • Inspect job sites daily at minimum to guarantee the site is running smoothly and safely • Report to project manager or upper management regularly so that any changes or issues may be dealt with accordingly • Project completion reviews with management will be done to learn successes and failures of the projects operations along with the final inspection and approval • Be aware of any opportunities for improvement that may come from your experience, the crew, management or the customer Safety Maintenance and Training • Make sure that all equipment and trailers are loaded or attached properly and are to DOT specifications • Maintain trucks, trailers and equipment on a regular basis to prevent field failures and safety hazards • Awareness of aging tools that may need replacement or repair • Ensure that crew members do not exceed physical limitations outlined in the company policy handbook • Must train crew members to do specified work properly and with care Requirements • Valid Colorado drivers’ license • At least 2 years of labor experience • At least 1 year of foreman experience • No scheduling conflicts, must be able to work up to 50 hours per week if needed • Positive attitude and work ethic • Understanding of management and physical labor • Ability to lift 50 lbs. Preferred Skills • Management • Sales Salary • $18 - $25/hr. Depending on Experience • 1-week paid vacation (must be agreed upon) o Only after 6 months of all projects averaging required gross profit margins and deadlines being met • Completion bonuses for jobs completed with exceeded gross margins and completed early • 5% of gross profit commission for jobs sold or generated by Enhancement Crew leader 3 • Can take work truck home with NO TOOLS ONLY
