Hi! We are looking for a keyboard player to fill the spot of a band member who recently moved out of state. The idea candidate would not be relying on gigs as a sole source of income although we do plenty of private events that pay decent. Our group is always in search of venues and gigs that are fun and that everyone enjoys to be at. The virus took a toll on a lot of musicians & bands and it has slowed us down as well. Now things are picking up and we are reassembling as gig requests are coming in. Typically when all is well we do 30-40 gigs a year. We play primarily songs from the 60's,70's, 80's, 90's but also throw in some more recent material and even 50's era if it fits in with our vibe. Our style would be considered Rock, Soul & Funk but we are not necessarily boxed in on genres. Candidate must: Be able to proficiently play the keyboards and have an ear for music as well as able to work with others Have his or her own Equipment & Transportation Be willing to learn existing and new material Singing is a plus but not a deal breaker Be open to rehearsing 1x per week Typically on Tuesdays evenings but this can be flexible Present themselves as professional at both rehearsals & gigs Please reply with your contact information & samples of your work.
