Vesco Oil Corporation, a leading provider of environmental services, is seeking a motivated individual to play an integral role in its recycling operations. The position of Solvent Distillation System Operator is ideal for someone who is environmentally conscientious and interested in sustainable practices. The right candidate for this position must possess general mechanical and electrical aptitude, and a willingness to innovate and grow with a highly progressive company. Duties include: Prepare, fill and start distillation units on a daily basis. Fill drums with reclaimed solvent or other products as needed. Monitor distillation equipment throughout the reclamation process. Maintain the distillation equipment as needed. Load/unload Detroit based environmental trucks as well as trucks from other Vesco facilities. Ensure work area is clean. Assemble/disassemble parts cleaning equipment as directed. Perform other environmental functions as directed.
