JOB DESCRIPTION: Needing a few paint shop people that has experience in preparation and painting of heavy-duty trucks, equipment and raw metal products. We are looking for someone who can lead and has a daily structure as to produce and put through jobs with good quality and on or before completion dates. JOB DUTIES: • Mix automotive paint to meet specifications • Help with the day to day work schedule to get the maximum shop put through • Prep, paint and quality control for every job that comes through the shop • Fill in certain times and areas that need be to get job done on time and with good quality • Independently make decisions on proper steps need to perfect appearance of touch up REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES: • Knowledge of required tools to perform job functions • Ability to adhere to high quality standards • Be able to pay attention to detail • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Knowledge of proper paint mixing • Ability to meet manufacturer specifications • Ability to follow directions • Ability to work in a close team environment • Extreme Safety Awareness ****Bi-Lingual a plus**** ****PLEASE INCLUDE DESIRED PAY RATE**** MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: ****Need experience in running a work flow*** • Knowledge and good taping ability - 5yrs • Prior automotive and Equipment paint experience - 5yrs • Good knowledge of paint mixing - 5yrs • Aware of EPA & safety standards in a paint booth and work environment PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Technical school training • High school or GED Bi-Lingual a plus PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Ability to lift 55 pounds • Ability to stand for long periods of time • Ability to kneel, climb, lay down on solid surface • Ability to adapt to tight areas • Ability to wear respirator • Ability to wear suit for sandblasting HOURS AND AVAILABILITY Monday through Friday 7:30am-4:30pm. Overtime as required.
