Job Description Assembling fabricated and purchased parts, perform routine operating maintenance on one or more types of equipment, including repetitive mechanical assembly functions by hand or with tools. Additional responsibilities include inspecting, operating, and testing completed products to verify functioning machine capabilities, to meet and maintain conformance and compliance standards of customer specifications, industry standards, and best practices. Duties and Tasks · Test products or subassemblies for functionality or quality. · Troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices, or products. · Build product assemblies or final assemblies (build for finished products). · Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity. · Prepare and assemble materials. · Set up and operate production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures. · Assist in developing, building, and testing prototypes or new products, processes, or procedures. · Calibrate or adjust equipment to ensure quality production, using tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, protractors, and ring gauges. · Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specification guidelines. · Keep production logs · Maintain inventory of job materials Job Requirements · 3-5 years of hand soldering experience is a MUST · Understanding of hand tools and basic machinery · Must be able to stand/sit for long periods of time · Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment · Must be able to work on repetitive tasks for long periods of time · Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent · Must be a team player that can multitask seamlessly · Must enjoy a creative work environment · Must be able to pass a criminal and federal background check, including drug test · Bonus Points if you can code!
