We are a successful automotive group looking for a dynamic and energetic handyman looking for a stable position. This Maintenance Attendant will respond to maintenance/repair needs between 3 buildings on the same campus. The candidate chosen will need to be quick on his feet to complete tasks immediately. Required Tasks: - General maintenace and upkeep of the facility. - Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. - Identify and make repairs to buildings, equipment, and property by performing mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC work. - Touch up painting in building common areas. - Document work and purchase orders, bids and material lists. - Order and stock building supplies, materials and parts. - Obtain estimates and quotes of materials and equipment needed for repairs and the completion of job tasks up to predetermined limit. - Plan and schedule corrective repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure work is completed in a timely manner. - Trouble shoot and identify equipment problems and solutions when necessary. - Complies with corporate standards and applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies. - Establishes goals & objectives for the maintenance department that are aligned with business goals. - Ensures equipment is properly maintained to meet production schedules & quality standards. - Miscellaneous handyman work requiring the limited use of hand tools. - Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: - 3+ years of maintenance and handyman experience. - Able to lift 30+ pounds if necessary. - Open schedule availability. Must be able to complete a task regardless of time of day. - Ability to follow instructions and follow through with requests. - Ability to work with minimal or no supervision. - Time management and ability to organize task list.
