Job Title: Production Specialist Job Type & Pay: Mold cleaners 2nd shift, $15 per hour Hours as follows: mon-4p-4a, tues-4p-12a, wed & thurs- off, fri-4p-4a, sat. – 4p-12a Painters & Screeders 2nd shift, $15 per hour painters5:30p-4a and inspect/packers- 4p-2:30a Inspect/packers 1st shift, $14 per hour 5:30a-4p Location: Chester, SC Description: The Production Specialist works directly in the manufacturing area ensuring quality standards are met, removing stone from molds and packing accurately and any other duty needed to support the production of a product. Skills & Qualifications: Experienced operating an air gun and staple gun preferred Excellent communication and presentation skills Excellent Safety and Attendance Record Knowledge of all mold texture and stone color Know and be able to apply OSHA safety standards related to job Proficient forklift driver with certification preferred Basic reading, writing, and numerical ability Ability to communicate to proper personnel when changes or problems occur Ability to follow directions and perform tasks with minimum supervision Ability to work as a team player Flexible- able to work various shifts, overtime, and weekends Production/Stone/Texture knowledge No minimum education requirement No prior experience or training required Ability to be exposed to temperature extremes inside or out Able to lift/move up to 25 lbs. Travel up to 10% of the time to meet with print vendors, fulfillment sites, and other related events Must be able to set and work at a computer for up to 8 hours per day. Be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable Prolong standing or in a stationary position Complete repetitive movements Wear all required personal protective equipment Responsibilities: Applies color to molds with spray or brush according to quality standards Applies acid spray to molds Pulls stones from mold and packs in boxes, ensuring the accurate amount of product is packed Reviews quality standards of stones (i.e. air bubbles, color, deformations, etc.) Scraps excess cement from molds, pull cement up in corner molds Ensures that all packaging, including labels, staples, box type, and assembly are in accordance with proper standards Able to clean molds to decrease over pour in the mold Maintains a clean and organized work area in order to keep a safe work environment Respects scheduled rotation of breaks and lunches Performs other related duties as assigned by department and plant management In addition, assembles display panels attaches labels, and applies touch ups to stones Train and able to perform duties within any production lines when help is reqired On Line 2, the Production Specialist is responsible for washing the molds, which is spraying water on the molds to keep the molds clean before being placed in curing Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility
