Why does all the scandal in this nation surround republicans.

When you hear stories of politicians being investigated for various crimes, it is always a republican who is at the center of the story. All of the criminal investigations involving politicians are republicans. I cannot think of a single democrat who is currently under investigation for a crime. I am not suggesting that there are not any crooked democrats. I am merely making an observation that conservatives seem to be far more scandalous and slimy than the dems.
