We are looking for Food Processing Associates with a positive attitude and strong work ethic to join our team. RESPONSIBILITIES The duties required of food processing associate include loading materials and products into package-processing equipment, measuring, weighing and counting product materials, moving or lifting heavy objects, loading, unloading or stacking products or materials, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. Sorting manufacturing materials or products, operating packaging machine equipment, recording product, packaging and order information on forms and records. The skills required include math skills, equipment selection skills, operation, and control skills, reading comprehension skills and active listening skills. QUALIFICATIONS Ability to work in a cold storage warehouse environment with 20 to 55 degree temperatures for long periods of time is REQUIRED. Must comply with all safety requirements. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to pay close attention to details. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job. WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS: · While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme cold. · While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms. · Job assignments may vary based on business needs. · Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. ***Because of the cold and wet work environment the employee is required to dress appropriately. Cold weather garments (winter coat, hat, gloves, etc.) and non slip boots are highly recommended. Employee is responsible for dressing appropriately.
