Need a driver with a valid drivers license (does not have to be a perfect driving record). Driver needs to have experience driving throughout NYC and be a good driver overall. If you are a driver and have someone that will be your helper full-time I am willing to hire both of you as a team. Both driver and helper must have good work ethic, no criminal background, be able to properly communicate with customers, have good/clean appearance, and be phone savvy. This is a junk removal job. You will be going to homes and removing old furniture (couches, dressers, TVs etc.), also pick up mattress returns, when people order beds for 30-90 trial and don't like the bed we pick them up for their homes. Some jobs are big jobs if someone is moving out and needs the apartment cleared out so it may take 1-2 hours to do a job like that, but most jobs are picking up 1-2 items (takes 5-10 minutes) from a customers house then go to the next pick up. On average there is about 8-10 pick ups a day. We work 6 days a week(Monday-Saturday), I'm looking for a driver and a helper that can at least work M-F but if you can work all 6 that will be great. Work day typically starts at 7-8am and ends at 4-5pm.
