Andy Brown — guitar, Rob Allgeyer— Hammond organ, Dan Drees — tenor saxophone, Jim Leslie — drums Andy Brown is a guitarist based in Chicago. Born in New York in 1975, he has played professionally for over twenty years. He has had a varied performing career that has included stints in Cincinnati and New York City. Since coming to Chicago in 2003, Andy has been fortunate to work at many of the area's finest jazz venues with his own bands, as well as playing his unique brand of solo jazz guitar. He has backed visiting jazz names at places including The Jazz Showcase and the Harris Theater. Currently, he plays solo guitar every Thursday at The Green Mill and leads his quartet every Wednesday at Andy's Jazz Club. As a sideman, he has performed with internationally know jazz musicians including Scott Hamilton, Howard Alden, Harry Allen, Warren Vache, Ken Peplowski, Hod O’Brien, Anat Cohen, Kurt Elling, as well as many others. He has also worked with many names on the Chicago jazz scene including Russ Phillips, Don Stiernberg, Chris Foreman, Eric Schneider, Bobby Lewis, and Judy Roberts. ==IMPORTANT SEATING INFORMATION== Due to COVID 19 social distancing restrictions, we will be selling all shows by the table and not per person. A chart is provided below to help you choose your seat package since selling by the table isn't a feature of the reserved seating chart of Eventbrite. For parties greater than 4 we may be able to place an extra table in a row or put you together in the standing area in the back, but you must call ahead to see if we have the availability for any given show to make it work. $10 drink minimum charged per person in the party if the total for beverages purchased by the party does not meet the minimum. Important Notice #1: If you do not check-in by 15 minutes into the start of the set, we reserve the right to resale your seats with no refund to you. Important Notice #2: All persons entering the cafe must wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth.
