Position Job Summary: - This is a back kitchen position. -With a pre-made waffle batter the job entails frying consistent waffles by quality and standard. We will train you, but it is important that you have basic food handling/kitchen experience and are used to high pace environments. -Packing waffles -Cleaning and basic storage organization, helping receiving packages etc. Principal Duties: Must be able to execute consistently according to Viking Waffles standards. All bakers must demonstrate safe food handling practices and follow safety procedures for using equipment and cleaning supplies, following safety procedures for using equipment; sanitize work area during and after use. Work environment includes working with hot cooking equipment/waffle irons. Required knowledge, skills and abilities: Food handlers license. Hands-on, flexible and highly responsive. Positive person who is able to work with a diverse group of people. Food Sanitation, Teamwork, Quality Focus, Job Knowledge, Safety Management, Multi-tasking, Dependability, Thoroughness, Equipment Maintenance, Verbal Communication. Possess the ability to motivate and maintain effective working relationships with staff. Strong interpersonal skills. Organized with good time management skills. Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
