Looking for an experienced mechanic focused on Old/Vintage Japanese motorcycles such as Honda CB, Kawasaki KZ, Yamaha XS, Triumph and 2 strokes etc. Suporsport bikes are also some of the jobs we get and would be part of the work for this mechanic. BROOKLYN SPEED is a custom motorcycle and repair shop that focuses on serving classic vintage motorcycles. Services Offered: Carb rebuild, Fork rebuild, Cafe Racer frame MODS, Custom gas tank, engine rebuild, wiring, electrical diagnoses, engine overbore, custom paint & designed parts and much more. The pay will be up to $30/hour CASH based on the qualifications and experience. Paid weekly, every Saturday. Hours: Monday - Friday 10am-7pm, Saturday 10am-5pm If agreed, job will start with 2 weeks orientation - then will be FULL TIME afterwards. QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: - Some English is needed***. If you don't have it a little bit, don't apply. No mucho Espanol - Very good communication skills to speak with shop manager and owner. Job start - Job finish must be communicated frequently. - Jobs will be done with Owner & Shop Manager's guidance and directions not by the mechanic's decisions. - Very good work ethic, always on time and working FAST! - Be able to Diagnose carburetor, electrics, suspension problems easy. - Must know Japanese motorcycles 1969 - 1987 very well. Honda CB, Kawasaki KZ, Yamaha XS etc. - Extra knowledge in Modern Sportbikes Ducati & Triumph is preferred - Basic knowledge in metal fabrication tools - Must be friendly and clean !
