Job Description Hub Grinding is hiring knife sharpening and route deliver. The job will initially start sharpening knives (will train) and covering for delivery drivers as needed. Eventually, the right candidate will be given a route of their own and time will be divided between shop and delivery work. Start times vary between 5:30 and 7:00am. Some flexibility with hours but looking for someone who can do at least 30+ per week for the full time position or around 20 hours per week for the part time position. Ideal candidate would be able to make deliveries 1 to 2 days per week and be a cover driver for vacations etc. The job would also entail working in the shop sharpening knives and helping organize and helping coordinate other routes on the days not making deliveries. Van provided, but must have reliable transportation to and from Walpole. All routes and shop work will start in Walpole in the morning. Must be able to consistently arrive on time, be willing to learn, and have a valid drivers license. Good organization skills a plus. No experience necessary. Matching retirement plan. Position Requirements: -Must be able to stand in one location for 3+ hours at a time. -Ability to learn to operate 3 separate knife grinding machines. -Basic operation and maintenance of assigned machinery. -Perform proper machine start up. -Perform basic break downs and wash down. $160-$170/day Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
