Celebrating Women's Heart Health
Come learn how you can take charge of your ❤️ health and celebrate the final days of the Woman of Impact Go Red campaign.
Heart disease has long been considered an old man’s disease. Historically, clinical studies have not been adequately inclusive of women or analyzed women-specific heart health. As of 2020, women represented only 38% of participants enrolled in heart disease and stroke clinical research. These deficiencies have hindered the progress of understanding women’s risk, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment plans of cardio vascular disease (CVD).
