Calling for Volunteers to help out at the StarkFresh Food Justice Campus 6/19/21 9am-3pm Calling for Volunteers to help out at the StarkFresh Food Justice Campus When: June 19th, 2021 9am-3pm Where: StarkFresh Food Justice Campus, 321 Cherry Ave NE, Canton, OH 44702 What: To help with several projects around the Campus, there are plenty of opportunities for help of all ages and skillsets. Water and hand sanitizer will be provided, please bring your own gloves and hand tools. All social distancing guidelines will be observed and masks will be required. Low /No skill tasks Skilled tasks Paint shipping containers • Remove basketball hoop from pole Empty and restock shipping containers • Change light fixtures in office drop ceiling Weeding, mowing around sidewalks • Run piping/wiring outside for coolers Painting raised garden beds • Strip and polish floors with orbital buffer • Hand wash trucks • Paint storm window frames • Weed sidewalk and Courtyard • Caulk/mortar brick building facade Sweeping sidewalks, curbs, courtyard • Install lighting in shipping containers To RSVP to help us out, contact Douglas Colmery 330-413-5893 or [email protected]
