A night for the Hampton Roads Disability Community to attend our area's most celebrated performances. Partnered with Faith Inclusion Network This performance is the dress rehearsal for the Virginia International Tattoo and an event especially for people with special needs or disabilities and their families. Face masks required. Seating will be safe and will prioritize social distancing between parties. The magnificent stadium, which is home to ODU’s Division 1 Football program, will allow for an incredible show with social distancing and the safety benefits of being outside. The outdoor edition of the Tattoo will offer all the pageantry and inspiration that guests have come to expect from the Tattoo over the past 23 years. For the 2021 edition of the Tattoo, we are taking the very best from our plans for the 2020 Tattoo – including our Salute to the Greatest Generation - and combining it with our 2021 plans. The result will be a once in a generation Virginia International Tattoo, with an exceptional international cast, extraordinary Celtic performers, inspiring U.S. military groups, and an emotional and unifying celebration of our World War II Veterans. CAR & VAN PARKING The nearest garage parking for private vehicles is the 49th Street Stadium Garage located on 49th St and Bluestone Ave, adjacent to the stadium. Garage parking rates may apply. There is 1 garage elevator available for use to enter the stadium only from Floor 1 – by South Gate Stadium Entrance. Personnel will be on-site to direct you to your seating. GROUP AND ACCESSIBLE DROP-OFFS If you need to drop-off your group at the entrance, turn right onto Bluestone Ave from 49th St and pause in front of the West Gate Stadium Entrance to unload passengers. Personnel will be on-site to direct you to your seating. BUS & OVER-SIZED VEHICLE PARKING If your vehicle cannot fit in the adjacent parking garage, drop off your party on Bluestone Ave by the West Gate Stadium Entrance. You will then be directed to Lot 43 on the corner of Powhatan Ave and W 43rd St. Vehicles can remain parked here for the duration of the show. FOOD & DRINK On-site concessions will be made available for purchase. SECURITY Bag checks upon entry. Please do not bring unnecessary bags to the performance. Security also reserves the right to wand patrons and ask people wearing large coats to open them for a visual inspection. ENTRANCE GUIDANCE: Please bring your Eventbrite confirmation printout or on your mobile device. Look for an email confirmation approximately a week prior to the performance that will inform you on the best gate entrance to use so that we may control potential crowding upon arrivals.
