We are looking for a full time warehouse worker who is available Monday - Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. The minimum requirements for this position are: a high school diploma or equivalent. authorization to work in the United States reliable transportation a valid driver's license with no convictions for DUI or related offenses or suspensions within the past five years Minimum age is 21+ due to insurance qualifications Must be able to operate a fork lift proficiently Must be able to read a tape measure and handle basic math skills Must be able to use basic carpentry tools 1 to 2 years of solid experience in a warehouse setting Must be able to lift or move objects weighing up to 100 lbs. Must be OK working in both hot and cold environments Must be proficient in data entry and/or inventory systems Additional Information: Carpet One By Henry is a family owned company who has two showrooms in the Triad area. We are in search for someone that is hard working, honest,and dependable. This is a very fast moving physical job which will require a person to be up and on their feet throughout the day. Job Duties include but are not limited to: Organize stocks and maintain inventory Inspect products for defects and damages Organize warehouse space and maintain cleanliness and function Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately Abide by all company safety regulations Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures Maintain record of move sheets and placement of inventory Packaging and loading orders for customers This position works with all types of flooring including but not limited to carpet, vinyl, tile, hardwood, and custom rugs.
