Marina Forklift Driver Full Job Description The Equipment Operator is responsible for the movement of all vessels located in the facility for haul & launch, designated work, storage or sales. This position is also required to inspect, repair, and maintain all assigned equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment including: marine forklifts. Be able to operate machinery efficiently, effectively and demonstrate safe handling of vessels Use equipment to move vessels in and out of water, to designated work space, storage or sales areas Inspect, maintain and repair equipment to ensure operational Perform yard work such as pressure washing, block and stand vessels, and general maintenance as required Assist with ground maintenance and ensuring overall marina cleanliness Available to work overtime when required Dockhand Position This person is responsible for providing superior care and service to customers and their vessels at all times. He/she is in charge of maintaining the dock, marina facilities, tools, equipment and to provide a safe environment for our customers to ensure a great experience. Requirements: The physical demands of this job include extreme outside conditions including heat, rain and cold weather. Because this job requires both physical and mental demands. The person for this job is required to work well under all conditions and to possess a high level of common sense skills and the ability to make informed decisions quickly. Must be able to work well with co-workers and be a team player. Must have reliable transportation to and from work. Must be able to drive a boat. Must be able to swim.
