Outdoor Celebration of GGYM Confirmand Baptisms Baptism is a public event in the life of the church. When folks are baptized the WHOLE community promises to walk with the baptized - to support their gifts and call and to be in Christian community together. On Wednesday May 19, 5 of the 9 confirmation students from The Greater Gaithersburg Youth Ministry will be baptized at Washington Grove lake.* In addition, we are planning a party to celebrate 7-8:30pm at Epworth outside on the lawn. There will be prayers for the newly baptized and Pizza Hut boxes for households who register. Please pre-register and join to celebrate these baptisms and to have time together as communities of faith. * More information to come about bus routes and places to park and walk for those who want to watch the baptisms from 6 to 7pm.
