Jardin Del Eden Daycare 2 is seeking a Partime daycare assistant to join our team for the summer. We want the kids and parents to become familiarize with our new member so we want the new assistant to start asap two days a week. Our assistant is going on vacation for one month and we need the coverage to cover her time in June. We cater to infants beginning from 6weeks to 12 year old. We are open from 8am-6:00pm Monday to Thursday & Friday 8am-5pm. We are in the soundview area of the Bronx. Position: Part time Requirements: Love working with children 1 year experience working in a daycare or early childhood classroom Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Most be willing to be fingerprinted and have a background check performed Must be physically fit to keep up with the little ones Bilingual in Spanish Flexible schedule Cpr/First aid is a plus Responsibilities: Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum Maintain a clean and safe environment Communicate with parents and provide updates Assist children with potty training Interact positively, effectively, and appropriately with children at all times We need someone who is reliable because as per NYC DEPT of Health we have to maintain the proper coverage. This position is ideally for someone who is in the area and would like partime hours. If your not flexible and cannot dedicate your time, this job is not for you. Thank you for your time Assistants are required to wear a face mask, take temperature on arrival, clean surfaces where kids come in contact with. All parents are require to stay outside for arrival and depature.
