Three River Farmers Alliance is seeking a motivated individual to play a key role in our delivery driver team. Founded in 2014, Three River Farmers Alliance is a farmer-owned aggregate food hub in the Seacoast, NH region that brings locally sourced food to homes, restaurants and regional institutions. In 2020, we launched our home delivery program, Veggie-GO, providing fresh, regionally sourced food to households in New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts. Our Mission is to develop relationships between local farms, customers and businesses with a vision to create healthier communities and expand economic opportunities for local regional farmers and producers. Three River facilitates the aggregation, storage, transportation, and marketing of regionally produced food products. We actively coordinate these activities along the value chain, providing wider access to institutional and retail markets for local producers, and increase access of fresh, healthy food for consumers, including underserved areas. Our ideal candidate has a strong interest in local food, has excellent communication and problem solving skills and attention to detail. Applicants must be a non-aggressive driver and team oriented with a keen attention to detail, excellent problem solving skills and a natural sense of hospitality. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Daily operation of vehicles ranging from vans to 16' refrigerated box trucks. -Loading, unloading, preparation, inspection and operation of delivery vehicles. -Delivery of a wide variety of product to homes and businesses through seacoast NH, Southern ME, and North Shore MA. -Adherence to set routes and time schedules. -Completion of order confirmations upon delivery completion. -Completion of daily route logs and reports. -Following all DOT regulations and safety standards. Requirements: -A valid drivers license. -A clean driving record. -Ability to attain a DOT driver health card (reimbursement offered). -Ability to lift 50 lbs. -Adherence to strict company COVID-19 policies in conducting contact free delivery -Adherence to all food safety policies as outlined by the company Food Safety Plan.
